Hi everybody !!!
Hidayatullah National Law University(HNLU) is 6th in the chain of National Law
Universities. It has been named after the great jurist and the former Chief Justice and Vice-President of India, Justice M.Hidayatullah. HNLU
has celebrated its 1st aniversary on 15th July,2004 and its still on the way of progress with a greater velocity. It
has well equipped compluter lab and a library. It also has one of the best Faculties that a National Law University
could have. My HNLU is a happening place and some or the other functions keep the HNLU alive 24hrs and 365 days. Our
foundation stone of the present campus was laid by His Exellency The President of India, Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. At
present we have 200 students from all the corners of the Country, and still we have unity in such a diversity.Our
Chancellor is the Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh. Our Vice Chancellor is Prof. Prof.M.K.Shrivatava,
successor to our previous VC Prof. (Dr.)Jose P. Verghese. Jose Sir was the person behind the scene who does
everything for the development and progress of this University. With out any hiccups and hesitation, I as an HNLUite say that,
"We were proud to have such a helping and caring VC as is our new VC." Apart from such a good faculty we also
have the great jurists and law men, visiting our university like Dr.Kashyap, Prof.M.P.Singh, Justice Sinha,
Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer, Prof. Upendra Baxi, Mr. M.P.Raju and many others.
What more????? Its more than enough to have an idea about my ideal
University.
So, I am proud to be an HNLUite and I will make sure that my University's name
and fame will we upheld always.
